The 2026 Arizona Adult Education Institute will be in-person only from Thursday, September 17 through Saturday, September 19, at:

The Institute is designed for Arizona adult education staff.

The following Arizona Adult Education key personnel are REQUIRED to attend all three days of the Institute:

Title II WIOA Program Administrators
Full-time instructional leaders, teachers, and support staff

The following AZ Adult Education key personnel are REQUIRED to attend at least one day of the Institute:

Part-time instructors and support staff
College and Career Navigators
Assessment Coordinators

Institute Registration Fees:

FULL THREE-DAY Registration: $540.00 per person (includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and Boots -n- Bling)
THURSDAY and / or SATURDAY Single-Day Registration: $199.00 per person, per day (includes breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack)
FRIDAY Single-Day Registration: $240.00 per person, per day (includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and Boots -n- Bling)

Remember to update your APLD account profile with dietary restrictions or accommodation needs before August 17, 2026.
PL attendance credit hours will be awarded to registered attendees based on the number of Institute days attended.
Registration for the 2025 Adult Education Institute closes on Friday, September 4, 2026.

Payment Information:

The LEARNER is responsible for ensuring they are registered and have paid for this event.
Acceptable forms of payment are purchase order (PO), check, or credit card.
If paying with a PO or check, a copy of the document is required during the registration process.
If paying by card, Visa and Mastercard are accepted (ADE does not accept American Express). Please note: submitting a PO does not constitute a completed registration for this training.
For payments by PO or check, immediately after registering, the Learner will receive an email stating their registration is 'pending' verification of the document. ADE Accounts Receivable will complete the verification within 10 business days. If after 10 business days the Leaner does not receive a 'confirmed registration' email, please contact carolyn.urish@azed.gov for further details.
If you are enrolling another Learner or enrolling multiple Learners (bulk nominate), each participant must have an active APLD account prior to starting the bulk enrollment process.

Lodging Information: ADE Adult Education Services has secured a limited number of rooms at Sheraton Phoenix Downtown at the prevailing State rate ($160.00++/night). The hotel will charge $20.00 per person/per night for triple and quadruple occupancy. Parking: Conference attendees will receive the special rate for self-parking of $15.00 per vehicle/per day.

IMPORTANT: The 2026 AZ Adult Education Institute begins at 1:00pm on Thursday, September 17, with onsite check-in starting at 11:00am and lunch from 12:00pm - 1:00pm. There are a small number of rooms available at Sheraton Phoenix Downtown on Wednesday, September 16. Please contact carolyn.urish@azed.gov to check availability. If there are no rooms available at the Sheraton, see below for the overflow hotel, Hampton Inn, which has several Wednesday, September 16 rooms in addition to September 17 and September 18, 2026.

ADE AES does not reimburse for any hotel and travel expenses (e.g. mileage, meals). Please check with your program administrator / supervisor regarding your organization's travel reimbursement procedures.

Please bring a wi-fi enabled electronic device for use during the Institute; some sessions may require the use of one. Handouts and presentations from Institute sessions will be available through the 2026 Adult Education Institute Virtual Guide (Guidebook).

There is a courtesy block of room nights set aside for 2026 Arizona Adult Education Institute conference attendees at the rate of $160+ p/night. There are rooms available for the nights of Wednesday, September 16 - Saturday, September 19, 2026.

All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking and must be reserved no later than August 17, 2026.

Valet parking is available for $44 per night (inclusive of tax). Hampton Inn does not offer self-parking.

Reservations made individually must be canceled by the guest at least 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid ‘no show’ charges.
